Privacy Policy
At Stack ("we," "us," or "our"), your privacy is foundational. Stack is built around an on-device-first architecture, and this Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Stack (the "App"), you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Our Privacy Principles
- On-device first. Your protocol data, dose logs, body metrics, and nutrition entries are stored locally on your device.
- No selling your data. We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- No advertising trackers. Stack contains no third-party ad networks or behavioral tracking SDKs.
- You're in control. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you create an account or use Stack, you may provide:
- Account details such as name, email address, and password (only if you opt into cloud features).
- Health and protocol data including peptides, doses, schedules, injection sites, body measurements, weight, nutrition, and progress photos. This data is stored locally and only synced to our servers if you explicitly enable iCloud or account-based sync.
- Payment information processed solely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your credit card details.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information (model, OS version, App version) for crash reporting and compatibility.
- Anonymous diagnostic data when you opt in to share crash reports and usage analytics.
2.3 Information from third parties
If you connect Stack to Apple Health or other supported integrations, we receive only the data categories you authorize. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
- To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
- To send service-related communications (e.g. receipts, security alerts).
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Health Data
Stack is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Any health-related information you enter is for your personal tracking. We treat all health-related entries with elevated care:
- All on-device data is encrypted using AES-256.
- Optional iCloud backups inherit Apple's end-to-end encryption protections.
- We do not share your health data with employers, insurers, or third-party advertisers.
5. Sharing of Information
We share limited information only with:
- Apple for subscription processing and App Store delivery.
- Service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g. crash reporting, email delivery) under confidentiality and data-protection terms.
- Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You can delete your data at any time from the App's Profile screen. Some information may be retained in encrypted backups for a limited period for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children's Privacy
Stack is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it.
9. International Users
If you access Stack from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, and strict access controls — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device passcode and Apple ID credentials confidential.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, if material, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance.
